Porcelain Paver Maintenance
Porcelain pavers are fade resistant and do not need sealers to maintain their color long term. As a non-porous paver, porcelain is naturally resistant to staining, mold, and mildew without the need for chemical sealers and harsh cleaning agents.
An occasional cleaning can be done with water, or a neutral detergent diluted with water to removed heavier dirt build up. Avoid using abrasive products like steel wool and scouring pads or cleaners containing strong acids or alkalis. Sweep dirt and sand off paver surface before cleaning, as sand especially can be abrasive.
For stains needing more than a mild detergent diluted in water, Fila make FilaCleaner or FilaPS87 which are both effective solutions. For more stubborn stains including rust, Fila’s acid based cleaner called Deterdek works better than other Fila products.
